Toddler Explorer Program

From ages 17 months to 2 years old, our focus is providing lots of love, nurturing, stimulation and joy every day for your toddler. Our teachers put an emphasis on building self-confidence, independence and exploration. Our Toddlers class features lots of sensory stations to explore and develop confidence and build language skills.

With over 17 years of experience in personal childcare and educational services, we love to watch your toddler learn and grow. All of our programs feature a low teacher-to-child ratios for personalized attention. Our teachers are carefully selected, are trained and educated in early childhood, CPR, first aid and are also required to keep current in continuing education. Our teachers give their undivided attention to creating a calm, stimulating and creative environment for your child. We have full day and part-time options available for your needs.

A look into your toddler’s day at Academy of Stars…

At Academy of Stars in Barrington, our teachers encourage sensory exploration, problem-solving and creative expression through experimenting with crayons, paint, water, sand, and more. Your child will be introduced to numbers, alphabets and shapes. Day-to-day activities will help to build your child’s vocabulary skills, foster independence, promote creativity and creating friendships. We strike a balance between educational activities and play and preparing your toddler for our preschool program.
